Anna Lapwood appointed Royal Albert Hall Associate Artist

Anna is beyond excited to have been appointed as one of the first Associate Artists for The Royal Albert Hall in its 150-year history.

Craig Hassall (CEO, Royal Albert Hall) and Lucy Noble (Artistic Director) announced their rich line-up of Associate Artists with a 3-year commitment: choreographer Cory Baker, saxophonist & presenter Jess Gillam, poet & artist LionHeart, organist/choral director & presenter Anna Lapwood.

Anna’s goal is to continue to open-up the space, and especially the Royal Albert Hall’s glorious Henry Willis organ, to as many people as possible.

"The Royal Albert Hall organ is literally the most iconic instrument in the country, and it’s been a privilege to play it – but it shouldn’t just be for the privileged few. This instrument, this space, and classical music itself, is for everyone."

Anna will appear as a guest soloist at the venue’s 150th anniversary organ gala next summer.
